Webcam Boudoir Session | The Swan Boudoir Studio By Tara Starr Photography

So we are living in interesting times! Boudoir photographers, as a community, are missing the connection we have to our clients during our sessions. We are missing feeling creative and we are missing seeing our clients transform right in front of eyes. So as a fun alternative to having woman in our studios right now, we took to the webcam!

No, these sessions will not result in high quality art, they won’t even be printable. They may be blurry due to poor internet connections or older webcams, BUT they will be FUN!

They will let us connect with other woman and feel creative. They will give woman a reason to do their hair and makeup and put on something they feel good in! We will laugh together and you will be empowered by doing something new and out of your comfort zone. SOMETHING DIFFERENT than just being “stuck at home”.

This was only my second attempt at a webcam session. They are pretty tricky! During Emma’s session, I had a virtual “assistant” (aka- her daughter) holding the camera on the other end, and it was still tough! We also struggled with poor wifi, but we really did have so much fun! Thank you Emma for helping me to feel a little like myself again! Boudoir photo sessions feed my soul and I am missing them something fierce!

If anyone is interested in taking part in our Body Love Project, we can do a webcam session NOW and then set the date to get you into the studio as the studio can open again, (We are hopeful for June 1st). The complementary webcam session will be something fun to tide you over until we can get you in for real. I CAN NOT WAIT TO GET EMMA IN THE STUDIO! Enjoy some images from her webcam session!
