There is no sweeter time than welcoming a new squishy baby into the family. Those early moments that go by in a blur need to be captured in photos because you just can’t possibly remember them the way that you want to. We should all get to remember the excitement and joy over the sleep deprivation. The love we have when we look at that sleeping, snuggly newborn instead of how we just needed a shower. Taking priceless photos of that new little life that will be growing by the minute is one way to stop time and make sure you remember those tiny hands in yours. The time when big siblings look a their new brother or sister with nothing but pure love. It really is a magical time that goes by way too fast.

I don’t shoot a lot of newborns anymore, but when I do I love capturing the instant connection parents and sibling have with this new little life. Looking at their baby, wondering who they will grow up to be. The sweet moments captured are always just so special. This is why I chose to shoot lifestyle newborn sessions. Just families acting natural, holding their baby, and taking in every moment together. Nothing forced at all.

This session with baby Silas was no different, other than I already absolutely love his family to pieces!! I am SO excited for them and this baby boy can’t possibly know how lucky he is to be born into such a beautiful family!!
